Drop the Lime — HEAR ME

In fall of 2008, we re-released Drop the Lime’s “Hear Me,” driven by his impassioned and soulful vocal hooks, scissoring bass, wild cymbals, and a few well-placed, GNR-influenced guitar licks. The remixes really heat this one up, as AC Slater turns in one of his most memorable anthems, all wobble gobble for the rabble rousers, backed with some rolling equatorial kuduro ‘n’ bass as Buraka Som Sistema heat up the dance. Top up the cup with spooky, orchestral IDM from Drums of Death and a spot of Robert Miles-esque trance synths and cave bass fromThe Touch, and you’ve got yourself a party.
