Today I thought I'd take the sun down with a little kick. High West was the first distillery in Utah since the 1870's. Not only does High West make their own spirits, but they also sling em in their own Saloon. All of this goes down in Park City, Utah, a place better known for the Sundance Film Festival.
What you're looking at is a bottle of bona fide High West Double Rye Whiskey. It boasts the marriage of a 2 year old rye, and a 16 year old "barely legal" 53% mash rye that give it a sweetly strong one-two punch. You might want to put on your boots for this one.
