We're happy to release this new 4 song EP from T&B Crew member AC Slater "Return of the Underground". This EP has definitely been making the rounds. "Out Here" was featured on Skrillex's BBC Radio1 Essential Mix (apparently the most played BBC Radio 1 piece of content in history according to FACT), and then the track was given away on Billboard.com along with an exclusive interview with AC. The EP also generated a bunch of blog press across the board including features from Gotta Dance Dirty, Vice's new electronic blog Thump, Okayfuture, Do Androids Dance, and beyond.
A little bit about the EP; About a year ago, we were all sitting around wondering what ever happened to the jackin bassy house sound we were all fond of, and whining about the lack of fun but quality bassline music to smash at the rave. Well, AC Slater went and did something about it.

We have another tune "Gunplay" from AC Slater's upcoming EP "Return of the Underground" which drops July 16th! Gotta Dance Dirty premiered the stream and download today, which you can grab above. See what AC has to say about the tune:
"My song "Gunplay" was inspired by the speed garage sound that was popular around 1997-1999 when i first started to go out to raves. the genre really caught my attention because it blended all of my favorite music styles so perfectly."

Out today is a brand new EP from Liverpool UK based producer Lucent! This one came to our attention via Jamie from Tomb Crew, who has been ruffing up the dance and the airwaves with “Ripper” for some months now. After we couldn’t get that one out of our DJ box, we called up young Lucent in cold, rainy Liverpool and asked what else he had sitting over there on his hard drives. The resulting EP contains four fun, fresh, and lively tracks that make perfect DJ tools—full of catchy, loopy hooks and big bad basslines. We hadn’t been able to find anything like these tracks for our DJ sets in some time; clever riddims that mix with everything, full of peak-time flavor and falling somewhere in between fidget, electro-house, and funky while not being any one genre at all.
